About Me

I am a free spirit, peace maker, people and music lover. My heart is as big as the universe, which enables me to do what I do. I love hard and I am passionate about things I believe in. I know a lot of people but my intimate circle is fairly small and if you’re in, I’d give you the world if I could. I help anyone if I can; as long as they help themselves.

I like to live like someone left the gate open. I try to find the positive in everyone and everything. I love a good time and I love to make people smile. I love baseball, music, travel, concerts, festivals and meeting new people. My family is my world and my friends are a close second.

I treat people as I want to be treated and I’m as real as you’ll find. I haven’t always been the best I could be and I have made lots of mistakes in my life but it’s in the past and I don’t live there anymore. It’s taken me many years to get where I am today, to forgive myself and to realize I am worthy and I am enough. I am a work in progress. We all have chapters in our lives that we don’t want read out loud. Some people just won’t admit it. Me………..I own that and those “not so good” chapters have made me what I am today. Instead of it making me hard and hateful, I strive to be a better version of me every single day.

I am outspoken and outlandish in many ways. I couldn’t keep my colors inside the lines so I drew new lines! You laugh because I’m different; I laugh because you’re all the same………………my favorite sticker on the bus! LOL

With this blog, I will start at the beginning of how the Geriatric Gypsy came about and from there, I may talk about anything from family to travel to animals to food to my bucket list and anything in between.

Sit back, relax, grab some coffee, wine or your drink of choice and, of course, a snack, we must have snacks, and enjoy the read!
